I find these phantograms you do so interesting and like the effects they present to the viewer. This is another good image. I have made my photo project for this coming month to make a phantogram and hopefully I will have an image to be reviewed by you in April. It all starts with baby steps... |

Great effort for a composite creative image. It works and presents a scene I hope to never encounter. The mermaid seems a little fishy to me with that manly face. At first, I thought the orange netting was kelp, and I like that you made her green. In a way, she looks like the Jolly Green Giant with a fish tail and wig. |

Nice job, Betty! The colors, subject, and symmetry are very well done and the image is great to view in 3D. I especially like how the antenna connect the four butterflies together - almost like they are holding hands. |

The flower head and bug make a nice 3D macro image. Unfortunately, I find the two intruding tips on the right side distracting, especially the out-of-focus one; and the other one covers the bottom pincer of the earwig. Those pincers have always seemed menacing to me, so maybe having one pincer is better than two. If cloning was a possibility, I would at least clone out the out-of-focus one. Also, the bug's dark rear body disappears into the dark flower head so maybe selective lightening of this area might help this bug.

This is a nice image with an interesting boat.
I agree with the cropping suggestion of taking off some of the top dead space. I think, too, that having waited for the person to take a step or two more into the lighter area before pressing the button would have allowed the head/left body side to separate from the dark reflection; and also would have not made the orange as dominant in the scene...but that is a thought for future shots. |
