68 Aug 21 Comment Great subject and image. I really like the angle of the front boat and looking at the interesting details on it. I like Barry's idea of pulling the front of the boat forward a little bit more...it would be fun to see it this way.

I always have wanted to visit northern France but haven't gotten there yet. Our son saw the Tour at one its legs about 15 years ago and said it is quite the experience as you so described. 		Aug 24th
68 Aug 21 Comment There is nice 3D in the distant mountains and the trees are a nice frame for the mountains in the distance. I think haze will be a part of western landscapes for a while...it's even here in the Midwest but we don't have mountains like these to add interest to an image. Aug 24th
68 Aug 21 Comment The really bright spot in the background by the scout's head is distracting but I love the shot. It tells a story and he looks so peaceful on the bench. I may have tried a few more angles to maybe get a better focus on the face. Aug 24th
68 Aug 21 Comment I like that you try these composite images with some creativity and imagination. I think the frog in the hand looks better because of the leg positions which makes it look more natural but imagination is fun with the clouds. Aug 24th
68 Aug 21 Comment I like this macro shot of the bee on the flower. The color and detail of the bee is there. I agree with the cropping...I would have cropped the partial flower center on the right side out and also along the top to eliminate most of the bright area. nice shot. Aug 24th

68 Aug 21 Reply I was using the patterned lines in the foreground as leading lines to the gull but I suppose 1/3 of the foreground could be cropped out. Thanks for the suggestion. Aug 24th
68 Aug 21 Reply Thank you Steve. I have never noticed the automatic color match feature but I am anxious to try it because this difference in color has been noticeable to me lately. Aug 11th
