68 Nov 19 Comment Nice creative image. I feel like I am looking straight down into a basket lined with greens and the purple flowers on the corners. I think I would have liked the pumpkin viewed from the top rather than the side to continue that feeling... but maybe that wouldn't work out. One of these days I'm going to try the mirror effect...I seem to always forget about it. Nov 23rd
68 Nov 19 Comment WOW...I don't think I even had a digital camera until 10 years later. And thanks for the interesting history behind this image, your computer and software, and then making it into 3D. It is a nicely composed image although I would have cropped out more of the sky. Nov 23rd
68 Nov 19 Comment I don't have much more to add in what would improve the image. The bee is a necessary focal point in the image but, besides being soft, its wings are hot spots and the detail is lost. I liked reading about your approach to taking this image and I think I'll try this too. It sounds like a challenge. Nov 23rd
68 Nov 19 Comment I like the image and the fisheye look which makes the scene work. I do see 3D through out the image and there is a lot to look at. The cat adds action to the image. I give you credit for all the work you put into this image and appreciate how you identified the steps...though I don't know what "gimp" is. Nov 22nd
68 Nov 19 Comment Great subject and image. I especially love the bent part of the collar...this adds interest and attention. Nice job with the bright areas not being hot and still having detail in the darker areas. I'm seeing just a tad of the background on the lower left side of the image and I would suggest cloning it out so you don't have to crop some of the knob. Nov 22nd
68 Nov 19 Comment Very nice perspective from the back of the cannon. The ropes, boards and cannon are all sharp and the stereo effect is great. Nice balance in brightness and contrast. In addition to trimming off the top brown sliver, the sliver of white on the side should be trimmed. I too agree about the merger of the cannon at the bottom. Nov 22nd
