33 Oct 20 Reply I, too wished for a garden on the right, but it a parking lot and filled with cars. I actually took out the fronts of several cars. As my mother told me many times, "If wishes were horses, beggars would ride." A little further down the bay there is a place where you can see most of the lighthouse and watch the waves splash on the rocks that lead up to the back of it. I watched those waves for a very long time. Alas, all good things must end. Portland is having some real problems now. I hope they clear up without great loses. Thanks for your comments. They are always helpful. Oct 24th
33 Oct 20 Comment What a fantastic spot to sit and meditate for hours. A great way to get away from this crazy world. The colors are complementary, soft, and lovely. You have nice foreground, med level interest and distance interest in the horizon. You might manage to cut a little of the upper sky to reduce the number of plane trails, but that is not a big deal to me when the trails are such a lovely color. Nice work. Oct 16th
33 Oct 20 Comment This scene is very much like one I have visited in early morning. It brings back nice memories of a weekend spent with a great group of ladies, sharing a wonderful book study. That means that for me, your image has nice emotion in it. This scene looks very inspiring, thoughtful, and peaceful. The light brings your eye to the focal point and the trees frame the scene nicely. Well done. Oct 16th
33 Oct 20 Reply I struggled forever, it seems, but love the lever on my Canon 5D. It is a real help. Thanks for your reply. Oct 12th
33 Oct 20 Reply Thanks for verifying that the lady needs to go. I love the help you all offer. Oct 12th
33 Oct 20 Comment I like the darkened sky in this image. In fact I would like to see it go all the way to the edge on the right side. The gray adds to the forlorn appearance of the deserted house. The yellowed grasses add warmth to a very sad scene. The fence adds balance and nice strong lines framing the buildings. Very moody leading to strong emotions. Great job. Oct 12th
33 Oct 20 Comment The beautiful lines of the sky, the light on the road and mountains and the texture of the ground are all lovely and well placed. I do like the triangular dark area leading to the road and the into the photo, but the lighter large rock grabs my eye. I think that it might help to crop the bottom just over that rock. Then everything fits perfectly for a great scene. It is difficult to capture so much in one scene that adds to the beauty and magnitude of the place, but you did it well. Oct 12th
