You are very kind. One of my friends offered shelter to a couple who only left after 10 months when she asked them to free up her room for her family. It does take forever to get things done when you have to wait for contractors and back ordered supplies. But Some take advantage. My daughter's house also flooded. So we rented a house together to help with expenses and the fact that finding a place to rent is nearly impossible when so many are homeless. |

We can share envy. I long to see many of the places you photograph so beautifully. If you come to visit, I will arrange to take you there. Don't worry, I am not going over the big waters again. My last trip across the Atlantic was a disaster. |

My house flooded in 2016 when our rivers and bayous flowed backwards due to 36 inches of rain in 3 days on already saturated soil. I have lived in this house (not in a flood zone when we bought in 1972) and never had any flooding prior to that one. I have not had any near threats since. However with two hurricanes predicted to hit the Gulf coast next week, there is no telling how much rain we will get. I am just now unpacking my salvaged things from '16. The contractors here were awful. They take money saying that supplies are ordered, but on back order so they need money to buy what they can to work while they wait. Then they disappear. Our police do nothing about it. Please, pray for safety for all those who may be involved in any dangers. Thanks. |

I also thought it was leaning a little, but I was wrong. I decided that it gives that impression because the waves and ripples are at a slant. Thanks for the suggestion of enhancing the water. I had not thought of that. |

I like the story you tell here. I do like the nearly black sky and I like the orange, but my mind does not understand how the sun is illuminating the land, but the sky is black. The light does not seem to be a street light. So I feel somewhat confused-but that isn't hard for me to do. Help me justify this. Or does it need to be justified? |

Randy, I understand why this scene caught your eye. It is a great find. I love the colors ,the lines of the pier, the reflection, the water and the beautiful girl. Not only did you find a person, but a beautiful one. How lucky could you hope to be. Good eye and good framing. Nice job. |

Marilyn, the colors in this photo catch my eye right away. They are really nice and remind me of the heat in the desert. I fine the line of sand around the front bush very nice. I do wish that the first big bush were not so centered. Other wise, it is a very pleasing find. |

What a lovely scene. And well captured. I could sit where you stood and enjoy this all day. Sharp, nice composition. Well done. I do not know where Marjelensee is, but you surely have some lovely scenes in your area. |
