If you zoom in a bit you can see all the way through the door and out the back. |

I wonder if that is the Spirit leaving a "dead" church. I don't know if your part of the country sees churches dying for lack of members, but we see it here. |

Thanks for pointing out the halo. It amazes me that I can look at an image over and over and miss the elephant in the room. I noticed that this one looked a little over processed, but since I did little processing felt it must be all texture of the dry earth. I will try and find something to reverse that or go back to RAW and start over. This group rell is good at finding what needs fixing and I like that a bunch. |

I share your feelings of wanting to include everything. I guess most nature lovers feel the same way. |

Welcome to the group, Randy. You have started out with a bang up beautiful, well done image. I would be interested in your lens choice. Your DOF is perfect. My only sugesstion is that the right tree trunk could use just a bit more room in order to look well seated in the frame. Very nicely done. I look forward to seeing all you have for us in the future. |

Wow! What a building. The color is fascinating. As I understand what you are saying, it is a prison or police headquarters? I am not familiar with the show you mentioned. What I really want to know is, is the sky really that blue? I have never been to Wales, but certainly would like to go (if I were 20 years younger). It is well composed, focused and processed. Nice job. |

I love, love those soft colors. This image makes me want to cry. Cry because of what is happening to our world. Cry because it is necessary to deface our land and much more needs to follow. But happy that there may be a little hope due to those trying to find solutions to our problems. The clouds are wonderful. Very well done. |

I like the way you posed the barn against the house. The white of the house suggests the love of the house against the tole of the years shown in the barn. My only suggestion might be to lighten the shadowed side of the barn and darken the soil in front of it to help hold the eye a little longer on that beautiful barn. Well done. |

This is a beautiful shot of a wonderful scene. I do think the suggestion to refine it into two photographs is a good one. Mainly because the two roads bare off in opposite directions and make my left eye go left and my right eye want to go right. So it confuses my eyes. Also there is more definition in the two focusing on one road. Nice work. |

So nice to have such a nice view of the glacier. The first thing I noticed was the bird shadow. It is kind of neat that the shadow is so bird like. It may distract, but I have no suggestions for changing it. Your white looks white to me, so I believe the color to be true. I do like the textures in the ice. Bob's suggestion on defining the focal point is a good one. Then we understand just what you saw and want us to see. Very nice and interesting shot. |
