I guess you know that the lone female has to disagree - but not strongly. I like the clouds, but I do think that the image is stronger without them. The fore ground, mid ground, and the mountains are all lovely. Excellent image. |

It looks to me like your diagonals, the mist and the quartz all worked well for you. Lots of thought and planning going on there. The feeling of cold, wet spray on a gray day comes through well. Nice work. |

Wow, how fortunate to have such a beautiful view from your home. I do like th inclusion of the lplow, as suggested. I can understand that there are many photo ops there with such a beautiful view. I like the lines of the land and the way they intersect. |

First, Lloyd, congratulations on your very nice slideshow. It encourages all of us to look at more of the wonderful photography we have at our finger tips. Great idea and great job putting it together.
I love this very colorful and dynamic image. The dramatic sky goes well with the dramatic fall colors. The composition is terrific. Nice work. |

You are right, it does help to make the 3 forward boats grab the attention. Thanks for sharing. I really felt that this was worth some work, but just could not decide what to do. You all helped. Thanks to all of you. |

I knew that at least one or two of you would have a great suggestion. I love Bob's version. I had simply not thought of using such a filter. I generally take landscapes because I like the scene and so don't generally want to change or distort it greatly. But this one works well. Paul, you are so inventive. I would love to go shooting with you. Your suggestions brought a belly laugh. I may try them all. Will you help me post bond? The mist is a great idea. We have mostly ground fog, so I did not think about it being higher on the water. I will work with these and see what I get. I thought about it a lot before submitting this photo. I did not like cropping the masks out, removing certain lines would not work because lpeople here know their shrimp boats and would be horrified. So I turned to you all. Great job. Thanks. |
