33 Sep 18 Reply I understand what you are saying. Sunsets/rises are really over produced by photographers. However most of us are still fascinated by them. Each is unique, colorful like nothing else, and pleasant to watch. I tried to find something that would make this sunset different and the bird spoke to me. He is small in contrast to the sunrise, he is alone like many folks, and I wonder what he is pondering. Thanks for your detailing the balance in this image.

BTW, folks, I do want to thank you for being so patient and for the good wishes this last two + years. Floods are devastating and I really feel for the people in N.C. and ajoining area. It has been really difficult and very expensive (two contractors stole from me), but I am thankful that God provides and I have made it through. I expect the work to be finished in one more day's work. I am now trying to get furniture and unpack my salvaged items. That is a huge job. Thanks again for every good wish.

33 Sep 18 Comment In spite of the sun, Bob, I think you did okay. The yellow grass is very attractive and pleasing. And there are no distracting shadows. In fact I like the angle of the sun. Your biggest light problem is the bright green trees behine the wagon. I would try to tone them down with the paint brush in RAW. I would not try to remove them due to the size of that space. I agree that a little more space on the right would help, but understand that sometimes it is just not possible. Have you tried to "paint" some space on that side? Wagons are always of interest, glad you got the chance to document this one. Sep 28th
33 Sep 18 Comment Ken, you have shown me a good fog photograph. I guess Larry's instructions some months ago helped both of us. I agree that the small rock needs to be removed in one manner or another. The view of the trees in the distance is really very peaceful and nice. When I went to Acadia N.P. I could barely see my hand in front of my face. Glad you had some visability. Sep 28th
33 Sep 18 Comment I think the composition is very well done. The contrast is nice, but I must agree with Ken. It needs a bird or something to act as a strong focal point. It is very pleasant, but could not hold my intrest long. Sep 28th
