Paul, this is a lovely seaside image. I ,too, like the windswept flowers in the foreground. The sky is a deal breaker on this image. It is perfect. I agree that a little boast in the contrast is nice, though I prefer less than in Larry's redo. I feel too much detracts from the "realness" of the emotion expressed in the image. I do think the tone adjustments work well. Great job on this. |

Judi, this is a beautiful capture. The composition is very pleasing and the black and white conversion very impressive. I like it very much. One thing bothers me: I can't decide if it is level. In places I think so, in others I don't. Maybe the water is traveling down hill, but I am not sure. Maybe someone who knows more than I can explain how to determine what to use to level in mountain photos and in this image, specifically. Level horizons have been a constant problem for me. Nice work! |

Larry, this is an amazing winter scene. Beautifully captured with wonderful composition. I would say a perfect shot. Congratulations on this accomplishment. |

Larry and Judi, I do see that there is some haze. Since this is what I saw, I did not realize that it showed so. Thanks for the suggestions. We do see what we think see. |
