Another "oooohhhhhhh" shot. The bumpiness of those green things and the strawberries against the satiny smoothness of the tomatoes is a nice study in variations of texture. I think you did a great job arranging the items. I find that one task to be difficult oftentimes. I am very impressed that you are able to capture the reflection without the double images that I continue to struggle with.
If I had to suggest any change, it would be to warm up the image slightly to reduce the blue cast in the highlights, but that is very subjective and a matter of personal taste. I just happen to like things warmer (maybe it is these 100 plus degree days we are getting here in Northern California)! |

Beautiful composition in the placement of the two rings. I love the black and white treatment and the gritty feel to the overall photography. I think that this photo would not have the same impact in color. There is a lot to see in this photo. I enjoy the straight lines (cut marks) which lead your eyes away from the circles as you follow their path. Exposure is excellent. Very nice image Janos! |

I love the color and texture of this image. You have given the ice that "other worldly" feel. The bubbles add interest to the overall composition. I am so impressed at what you were able to attain from the original image. I like the way the light comes through the ice. Its placement in the lower right corner is a nice balance with the highlights of the bubbles in the upper left corner. If I had to find something to improve, it would be to keep more of the clarity of the top of the left cube and this is only because I can see what that cube originally looked like. That is the only element that bothers me and this is nitpicking. Great job! |

I like the adjustments you made Lynne. I think they really improved the image. Thank you for noticing and taking the time to make the changes. |
