I'm drawn first to the player on the right and then I go to the left and up to the ball. I don't really notice the background until last. I'm also not a PJ person but I would guess that you are not always going to end up with the background you desire in these situations. You would probably have to darken the whole background not just the top right. |

I have been considering one of these lenses. I see the focus more in her hair tie although I do like the blur in her face. I do like the bokeh that this produces as well. |

B&W looks so good on this photo. My eyes first go to the lamp post on the right side but the repetition of the boats and pilings, pattern of the bricks and building in the background really keep me looking through the whole photo. It really has nice depth to it too! |

So I can just picture everyone running around with the flashlight. I really like how you put everything together in photoshop. I still have pretty basic knowledge of it myself so I think you did a good job. I also like your star trails on the left side even though most people would say to take a separate exposure of the sky and blend then one in as well. |

I am drawn to the flower first and I like that soft yellow out in front I feel like it pulls me through the photo. I do think the yellow at the bottom of the stem could have been darkened because that is where my eye is ultimately brought back to though. |

I understand what Jon is saying about flipping them but I think we would lose the focus of the light on the canoes. Lovely edit although I can't see the original. |

Thank you Jon! I don't really pay attention to category rules :-) |
