66 Oct 25 Reply Thanks Henry. They were just so gracious in allowing us to photograph their work. Oct 5th
66 Oct 25 Reply Yes Emil, that's true. We did see the very tedious process of making the tea that we take for granted. The work is so hard for these poor people. Oct 5th
66 Oct 25 Reply Thanks Gary. Oct 5th
66 Oct 25 Reply You are right Arik The color images don't work as well. Contrasting light was a problem Oct 5th
66 Oct 25 Reply Thank you so much for the information Steve. I really appreciate it. Oct 5th
66 Oct 25 Reply Thanks Chuck. These poor people work so hard for very little. Oct 5th
66 Oct 25 Comment Hi Arik, This made my heart skip a beat. You are so smart when it comes to choosing locations. Perfect! Your conversion and toning are as usual spot on. Oct 5th
66 Oct 25 Comment Hi Chuck, I'm always excited to find covered bridges and then usually disappointing with my results. You did so well here. I do think it needs a little more contrast and straightening. Minor - I like it a lot. Oct 5th
66 Oct 25 Comment Hi Gary, this really is such an unusual and interesting bridge. The detail you have managed to bring out in it is stunning. It looks jeweled. But, I think I would have used the detail extractor on the bridge only, and have the foliage and sky softer. There is a crunchiness of the trees near the water on the left. Oct 5th
66 Oct 25 Comment Hi Henry, Iconic image, and worth the trip. Either way the foliage is beautiful. You really did well to recover all the detail in the mill. I do think adding contrast to the mill would make this "pop" even more. Oct 5th
66 Oct 25 Comment Hi Emil, Like some others I have a thing about photographs of other peoples artwork. No problem for me here. You have inserted yourself beautifully into the image. The reflection pool there is such a winner. I may have lifted the camera up to include more of the gardens behind the statue and show less of the pool. Oct 5th
66 Oct 25 Comment Hi Steve, This is the kind of picture we all like to take. You have handled the processing well, although the sky is a little too much for my taste. I agree with Arik's view on sky enhancing. I do wonder if there is a way to make the boat stand out even more from the very complex surroundings. Oct 5th
