Thanks Arik. Your comment certainly made me think as I purposely darkened her leotard. I will revisit. |

Hi Arik. All the elements are there. It makes us happy. Lines and shadows everywhere. In looking at the original there is lovely detail in the tree trunks that shows where the light is catching too . Maybe you tonality is just a touch too heavy. |

Hi Jack, I think we all agree that this is a perfect scene for artists. My eyes travels through it enjoying all the elements. I would crop, the right all the way to the trunk And yes some contrast is needed. I still love it! |

Hi Chuck, what a view! I could live with this on a daily basis. The layer upon layer effect is so pleasing. I wonder about pushing the whites to lighten up some of the grey. Great for the bottom layer of the clouds. |

Gary, Fabulous subject that is so beaufully rendered The dead branch framing works so well and does not block us from the interesting sky. It's always pleasing to me to get a comment that makes us fix something we thought unimportant, only to find that it made an enormous different. Even though what you first presented was great, I do like your final image best. |

Hi Henry, I have an ongoing project of making high key images. This fits the bill for me. The composition is lovely. If it were mine ( I wish) I might try to make it even more high key which would simplify it and make the building stand out even more. BTW Costa Rica is one of my favorite places. |
