Hi Emil, Before I read other critiques, I kept going back to your original and enjoyed the feel of it. So I am in agreement that this is better with some color. It's hard to find a good angle with harbored boats, and I think you did really well here. The sky is ideal too. |

Hi Henry, You found a great subject to put in front of that wonderful sky. The great vista behind the boat is compelling. I would only darken the boat, but leave the rest as you have processed. I wonder if you took a horizontal version too? |

Well found Gary. You make me want to be there! The textures you found in the rocks are palpable. Great processing too. |

Hi Chuck, While having foliage in our images marks them as infrared, I don't believe that it is always necessary. The rendition of the person is very well done and completes the story. I would crop out some of the sky and lighten the tones a little. |

Hi Jack, I can see what attracted you to this perfect scene. It has all the right elements. Both Gary and Henry have presented worthy edits, but I do like the softness you your own. Maybe getting some tone variations in the trees is all that is needed |

Hi Arik, I keep thinking that you must have had a reason for the very somber rendition. Your composition is great. I like the balance of the large foreground tree with the small tree in front of the building. I believe that finding detail in base of the building and in the tree will enhance your lovely image. |
