Thank you all for the kind comments. Vineyards to follow. Port wine is great in very small doses. One does not realise the kick it has. |

Henry, Before reading your explanation of the image, my immediate thought was whimsical. It's a fairy tale image and your processing enhances that. Having read your view on keeping people in your images, I do agree. For me all the people work here except the bunch against the lower edge. The people against the wall are wonderful. But all this is minor as the image is great. |

Emil, Beautifully handled. What a difference from the original. Really worth the work you put into this. Water is great and toning is just right and the sky is a bonus. |

Palli, Simplicity is he name of the game. Most would just walk by, but you saw an opportunity and it sure paid off. Well processed showing softness against the hard rocks behind the plant. |

Gary, You should have called this "self portrait". Jokes aside, like Arik, you show us that anything can make a great IR image. Your use of contrast is masterful. The details really pop and although this is busy, it is just so interesting. |

Chuck, You often seem to find the simple beautiful curve compositions that are so suited to IR. Your post processing shows this find to be worthy. You make the viewer want to be there and walk the beautiful pathway. |

Jack, This so reminds me of scenes seen in Africa. The stark contrast between the railway line and the ghostly clothing is what struck me. Your position for taking this is just right. I do like the toning you chose. |

Arik. The final result is spectacular. Using ICM is so often hit and miss, but you understand just how to move the camera to get this wonderful result. Lessons we learn are that there are no subjects where IR does not work. Creativity is the name of the game. Great work! |
