Hi Palli, With apologies - I did comment the other day and somehow did not load it.
You have taken devastation and converted it into a graphic art piece. Your processing is just so good. You managed the contrast beautifully. I do wonder how you feel about removing the dark twig going to the top edge |

Jack, Arik, Gary and Palli,
Thank you all for the encouraging remarks. As I love flowers, I will continue to try to make them work in IR. |

Hi Henry, I'm so pleased you thought to capture this gorgeous tree, while your head was concentrating on the bird life. The lovely clouds add to the composition. I see we are not all convinced that the path is necessary. I believe it gives base to the image.
We all see things differently. I'm sure that like my husband and me, even when you and your wife are standing right next to each other, your photograph are seldom the same. |

Hi Emil, This is a great IR capture. The elements are so distinctive, but harmonize beautifully. I admit that I immediately wanted it to be in a horizontal form. I see that Gary thought the same. Even though the sky is so dramatic, I don't think you need all of it. I would crop the grasses to where the flowering begins. I certainly like the gentle contrast you presented and would not change it. |

Hi Gary, Even though it looks like a very old image, you have captured and shown us rural America as it is today. This is very topical.
Your processing is certainly interesting and really suits the scene. I do think that the grasses on the left are blown out and I'm sure you can find some detail there. You always give us something to think about. |

Chuck, You are much too hard on yourself. There is great value to this image. We all suffer from working a image and never being satisfied with the end result. I think you have cropped well. I would lighten the waterfall. I agree that the blue is a little too intense. |

Hi Jack, You have really done well with Cambodia images. This one also makes the grade. The contrast between the stones and the trees is beautiful. Maybe more contrast in just the sky would make it the trees pop even more. |

Hi Arik, True, it's a very simple scene but you have raised it to new level. I love the post processing color which gives a richness. You waited for the clouds and they work. I admit that I don't care for the boarder, although I think blue tones on the edge would work. Just a small quibble, but I think the horizon may be a little off. |
