Hi Russel, I applaud that you have shown something so different. Water droplets are just so much fun. I do like to see the original of submitted images, but understand that as this is an old image you may not have found it. The soft colors and muted background are lovely. I really would like to have seen sharpness on the whole of the front petal. All in all, a very interesting shot. |

I Maria, I love your style, using High key. The white on white is so very appealing. The shapes of the flannel flower is so elegant. I took the liberty of applying Topaz De-noise and wonder what you think. Beautiful work. |

Hi Julie, I'm jealous of you having the opportunity to be in a sunflower field. Only cut sunflowers in Florida! You have done really well with your crop. You might consider blurring the background flowers even more. Also, the sharp leaf in the lower left is a bit distracting. As others have said, brightening would really bring it out. That being said, I have enjoyed your image. |

Hi Diana, Such a pretty flower. Yay for the Dalia that gives such joy! I think you are on to something, using the lensbaby. It make for very interesting results. I would love to see even more blurring with just the front to center sharp. Ha! I say this so glibly as I find the focus point so difficult to find when using a lensbaby. Bottom line is that you have done well. |

Hi Fran, This is beautiful. I really appreciate the depth achieved with the blurring. The soft colors make this a winner. I think sharpening just the center might make it even better, it seems sharper in the original. Great job! |

Hi Al, Your post processing of this Barrio House is lovely. I especially like the door. As this is a flower and plant dialog, I have to focus on the plants. I would have liked to see the base of the cactus on the left. I wonder if you would consider taking out some of the yellow in the plants to give the a richer look and make them stand out more from the building? |

Thank you Jack. I vacillated about the pole and after removing so much in the background decided to leave it.
I agree that it should go. I also think that you are right about the crop. |

Hi Henry, How wonderful to spend time with your family. Im sure it is always fun.
I love this composition. Even the drainpipe is interesting. I am not sure about the false color of the house. It appears dull and does not convey a sunny beach day. Maybe adding some contrast to it would help. The palms are great.

Hi Emil, The composition is lovely. There is a graphic design to this. I might have cropped to exclude most of the upper foliage to concentrate on the ferns. I did take your image into PS and using selective color, lightened the whites, which to my eye made the ferns pop. |

Hi Palli, As you say there is so much to enjoy here. I like the juxtaposition of the fence and the bridge, which even continues with the distant poles. I do think that the sky is needed. May I suggest that there could be some darkening behind the bridge to create separation from the mountain. |

Hi Gary, This is a lovely composition. You always manage to push the envelope with your processing and I think you have achieved your aim. I expect the rain to come down at any moment on this late afternoon. I am bothered by the out of focus foreground, and suggest a closer cropping to just below the pond edge grasses. |

Hi Chuck, Us IR people are always looking for some foliage to put into a picture and you found a lovely angle with the framing of such a well known building. I do like that it is processed differently too. you have made me want to go back and too at my images to see what I recorded there. Well done. |

Hi Jack, I certainly does come together! The vineyard lines lead us right into the image. I think the storm clouds are just fine. Maybe a little more contrast on the mountain would add to the separation from the foreground. As usual you composition is perfect. |

Hi Arik, This is certainly different. I do like the eerie nigh time feel achieved, although my taste would tend to a softer blue. I would add some blue to the highlighted are behind the bench. The bench appears almost ghost like and I wonder if it should be darkened as your title suggests it is important. Never the less I am really enjoying this. |
