I have also built a library of IR skies. I wish more people would use their own skies. It's often too obvious that the sky has been changed. |

Hi Jack,
I think that you have captured this well, with the trees making a great frame. There are lines going through the base that lead me into the strong striations of the tower. Looking at it in levels, there is room to move both the black and white points to give more punch.
I find this more interesting than your second version. |

Hi Emil
You did good then! Great detail and lovely lines. I even enjoy the statue attitude. Maybe I would add a little contrast to the sky to separate it from the building tones. I think we all nee more time with our cameras and especially IR. |

Hi Palli, This is a wonderful scene. The gentle curve of the foreground against the strong rocks is great composition. The people add scale which creates grandeur. I do think that there is even more detail to be found in the rocks and some contrast would make it pop! Lovely sky too. |

Hi Gary, Wow! The detail you have found really makes this one pop! The composition is so interesting. Unusual to have a diamond shape framing. It holds it all together and makes us concentrate on those wonderful reflections. Well done as always. |

Hi Chuck, You really have wonderful images from your Iceland trip. This one continues to show that. Good job with the sky, although the original seems quite interesting. For me there is a little sameness in the tones which are easily modified. Let's see what you and the group think of the changes I made.

Hi Arik, We seem to have found similar images this month!
I do like your soft toned conversion, while keeping really good detail. I am always in two minds about whether to leave in in fences and electric lines. The central fence post does not intrude, but the one on the right keeps pulling my eye away from the wonderful building. I wonder if that would still happen in the base had been included. Great find, thank the dog! |
