Emil, The cool tones in you processing are lovely. The reflection has just enough detail. It may have been your intention to center the pavilion, but I think that a crop on the right will give it even more drama. Revisiting a scene to try to make it different from a previous shoot is a great idea Do it again! |

Palli, You do find good trees! The detail, textures and structure show very well. I do prefer your main image, but agree with Emil that the tree should stand out more from the background. I'm of the opinion that darkening rather than lighting the background will make it pop even more. |

Chuck, You are continuing to bring us fabulous pictures from Iceland. Well done on the processing. Nik is not always the answer! Adding the sky was a must. It's a wonderful sky, but I wonder if it is overwhelming the volcano drama just a bit.
This must have been awesome in color too. |

Hi Jack, The harshness that you see is in keeping with the subject. You are showing us wonderful textures and detail. All those horizontal lines keep my eye going through the picture. As for the flip, I would not have thought of it, but it certainly works ( Good eye Palli )The tones add to the images. Good job! |

Aril, You know this is a lovely scene as you have captured it often. I really appreciate the tones used. The detail on the tree trunk is great. Would you consider removing the bright highlight that is touching the edge on the upper right? |
