Hi Emil
At first glance I thought this was taken at a derelict monastery in Italy, which looks quite similar. I think you did really well considering you had to deal with a fence. The ability to add clouds is sometimes a double edged sword. If the intent was to create high drama, then you succeeded. If it was a natural look you were seeking then less intense clouds through the open spaces would work. I do think the base could do with a little lightening up without distracting from the lovely light patterns leading in. I have really enjoyed this image. |

Hi Palli
Your processing here is so very well done. The bluish tone invokes the snowy scene. As I examined it, I did realize that the softness at the edges was intentional, as it is sharp in the central area. I think that darkening the stream below the bridge would make another lead towards the bridge and keep my eye in that area between the trees. Well seen! |

Hi Gary,
No Covid in our family, which is a wonderful thin to say.
You made me work with this one! I really have enjoyed peering through all the foliage to get to the barn. Sunburst adds some drama. Not sure that the painterly effect was needed. Have you looked at it with a square crop? I feel a little tight to me.
When I was having software problems I used luminar almost entirely to convert to black and white. I now really enjoy it for portrait work and find that it does a really good job when using my own skies for replacement. |

Lovely scene Chuck. I like what you have included in your final composition. I think there is too much contrast in the bottom half, which if reduced will make it fabulous. |

A fine presentation Jack. The desolation is obvious and compelling. Bottom edge darkening and sharpening will give it a sturdy base. I had wondered about cropping to take the shed off center, but have decided that it does not improve it any way, so great job! |

Hi Arik
You have captured one of my favorite flowers. Cosmos in a field is just lovely as is your image. Although the bloom is crisp, there is a translucence to it against the muted background. I do agree that a small amount cropping from the top enhances your presentation. |
