66 Aug 21 Comment Hi Emil, I really like that you chose to finish this with sepia tones. Making it old and rustic looking works. As others had pointed out, more drama would be better, thus you second presentation is more to my taste. I think we have all learnt to work around contrast in our images. That being said, personal taste always wins! Aug 8th
66 Aug 21 Comment Hi Palli, You have taken a simple, fairly ordinary scene and made it special with your conversion. Everything works here, and spotlighting the ship gives the depth it needed. Well done! Aug 8th
66 Aug 21 Comment Hi Gary, When I first saw this, my thought was that you really need a few sessions with Chuck to straighten your head. But, the craziness soon started to make sense. You have made something wonderful out of contrails! The "chaos" at the bottom holds it all in place and leads up up and through the image. I am in two minds about the "rocket". It is a different story without it, still a story though. Fabulous! Aug 8th
66 Aug 21 Comment Hi Chuck,
Practically every image I have seen from Iceland portrays the lights in some way. I so appreciate this totally different view. The vastness is enhanced by the oh so important lone figure. Wonderful lead in. The addition of the new sky is well thought out. I does remind me of pictures taken in the rocky mountains long before I was using infrared. Great job!

66 Aug 21 Comment Hi Jack, So much to see and enjoy here. It really was a scene worth recording. I like the sepia tones which are so in keeping with the subject. There is so much detail captured even though there is a softness to it - that does not mean lack of focus at all. Well done!
To Gary's point, I am of the opinion that IR can be used anywhere, especially as you say for interior work. I think it is especially good for architecture. Maybe this is a discussion we should have within our group. One question is does there have to be foliage?

66 Aug 21 Comment What a gorgeous scene. The boat makes it a delight. Well seen and beautifully processed. Seeing this made me realize that my own conversion needed to be reworked. Thank you for sharing this wonderful image. Aug 8th
66 Aug 21 Comment Thank you all for always making me think and try to do better. This is what I love about the group. I have gone back and reworked my entry and I am a lot happier with the result. I do wonder what you all think but understand that most have already commented Aug 8th
