Hi Emil, A lovely scene and well captured. There is a sameness in the tones which is easily corrected as others have said. I really want the waterfall to pop as it is the center of interest for me. |

Palli, I really like your image. There are so many angels which create such interest. At first I thought it needed straightening, and then I found the straight vertical lines. The blue toning gives a great eerie night time look. Play around with contrast and brightening. That will lighten the back wall and separate from the brick arches. Well done. |

Gary, the black and white rendition is so well done, showing the full range of tones and gorgeous detail. Depth of field is perfect. |

Chuck, I love me a good cemetery picture, and this sure is one! I like the crustiness seen on the stones making them look really old. Looking at the original, the sky has a different quality, which I like more. I am in the camp of keeping most of the sky as it is so interesting. I think it would the show such solitude. The tones do work here. |

Jack, The stark feeling achieved gives such a lonely feel, which is totally in keeping. You have managed to highlight some of the bushes well. But it is the depth of the image that strikes me. Yes I do agree with Palli's removal. Beautifully toned as usual. |

Hi John, I love that you have given us a color version. I think you did well shooting into the sun. I can see a sunburst in the tall tree. I think that it is a little too muddy. Much of the detail has been lost. Toning more towards yellow should give a lighter feel. If it were mine, I would crop a little off the left and the bottom, but I do understand that the environment was imortant. |

I hope to see something of yours using this technique. It's fun but oh so frustrating to get it right. |
