Hi John, Thanks for your kind comment. I did use Topaz de-noise and sharpen. Is this what you wanted to know? |

Palli, Thanks for your kind words. I think you are referring to the sign in the upper right. I do understand why it is bothering you. It may well be a better image without it. For me it is part of the story of this area. I cannot expect my viewers to see that without having been there. |

Gary, You have really made me think about the fact that this is not an obvious IR image. I have looked at some of my IR images and there certainly are many, especially in architecture, which have nothing that says IR. For me I think that IR is a tool that I like to use to create mono images. Maybe I am wrong? |

Hi Emil.
Great find! I love that the sailors are all facing us, seemingly to be looking right at us, and the line of the boats is perfect. You were blessed with a lovely sky which makes for a very interesting backdrop. I would not crop it, it is fine as it is, but I may consider adding canvas to the right and taking some away from the left to give the boats more space to move. |

Hi Palli,
Bare lone trees are always interesting and you have found a good one. I like your processing and you have managed to lighten and darken areas to make the tree really stand out. I am not a fan of the boarder, I think it distracts from the star of the show. |

Hi Gary,
I always feel a little jealous of your plethora of barns that you come across. Not too many to be found in Southern Florida. This truly a lovely scene with gorgeous sky and really well placed trees. I understand the problems in processing because of the very contrasting light. I think that the sepia tone is a little heavy and has created some muddiness. I worked only in your shadow areas, not wanting to loose detail in the brighter bits. What do you think? |

Hi Chuck.
My immediate reaction to your image was to block out the left hand side. without the closer foliage, this image really works. It's really a sign of our times and leaves us longing! The touches of blue are just right for the scene.
Probably an oversight on your part but I think we all agree that we need the whole chair. |

Jack,
As you say something different and unexpected, certainly in IR. The circle of light is marvelous and of course makes the simple image interesting. I do think that darkening the grain base will make the spade pop as right now the tones are so similar. Either way, I am enjoying it. |

Hi John, So nice to have you join our group.
This is a great subject for IR. I do like the cool toning you have chosen. There is an overall sameness within the tones which is easily adjustable to create more contrast. I wonder if you would consider cropping to take the gazebo off center. After looking at your original, a little off the left would do the trick. |
