Emil, What a great find. The conversion has enhanced it with lovely tones. Your cloud addition a perfect for the scene. You are also a great gentleman farmer. Well done! |

Palli, This looks like a great place to reflect and enjoy. The water carries my eye through the image. The clouds form a lovely interest. I wonder if you would consider cropping above the lowest cloud reflection. I do not see the value of the dark base here. |

Gary, This certainly is different from what we are used to seeing from you. The original is gorgeous and the lighting beautifully subtle. I certainly understand "playing" with work and pushing the envelope is always a good thing.
I think your crop works very well. I am wondering about the golden brightness of her hat and wonder if you would consider painting some blue into it so that it does not compete with her face and hair. |

Hi Chuck, I think this is an innovative capture. Removing the base makes it seem almost real. You did a great job there. I do like the toning used, which is in keeping with a water scene. There are some areas of brightness which are easily toned down. I do wish that there was some separation from the trees behind. I would not do any cropping. |

Jack, Those clouds are lovely. You should have them in a collection so that you can use them again. Luminar does cloud replacement if you do not already have that. I do think you could get more out of them though. I used selective color in Photoshop on your pic. Used the neutral slider to increase the definition just a tad. I think your submission definitely has interest and is pleasing to the eye. |

Yes, I agree. I hate when I look at images and know that a few steps in one or other direction would be better. Interest in subject matter sometimes takes over from composition! |
