66 Aug 19 Comment Hi Emil, A lovely, tranquil scene, most suited to IR, especially with the gorgeous sky. For me the tones throughout are fairly similar and I would add some contrast mostly in the cloud area to make them pop. Aug 12th

Lovely inviting scene. Horizon line aside, it is all working.
Your lead in log echos the ridge line, and that is marvelous. The sky is IR great. If you had the tripod with you, would you have tried a long exposure to smooth out the water? Just a thought. I'm not sure whether that would have been good for the sky though. I like the tones of your conversion 		Aug 11th

This is a great capture.
So interesting that there are a few old structures this month. Like you, I also struggled with the choice of distance and what to include. I think you made a great choice here. I enjoy the plowed fields surrounding the houses. Your style is to use more muted tones. I think here, a little contrast is needed so that the sky and structure are not in the same tonal range, but my eye says only a little.		 Aug 11th

The detail that you have managed to extract from your image is extraordinary. Fantastic. There is a graphic quality within all the textures. I am drawn in right down the alley...and I want to go! I do not care for your sky. I think it competes with the magic in the rest of the image.		 Aug 11th
