66 Jun 19 Comment Emile,
When I first saw this, my heart skipped a beat. The lines are just so beautiful. There is a simple elegance with the arch perfectly reflected and the curved treeline breaking it up. I really like that there are no clouds or ripples in the water. I would hang this one and look at it every day.

66 Jun 19 Comment Palli,
Such interesting reflections in this building. Every time I look there is something different. The strong graphic quality on the left is so different from the city scape on the right. The composition is much stronger with the flip. Well seen.

66 Jun 19 Comment Gary, This is lovely. A picture perfect capture. The tones are great, giving a wonderful old world look. You have managed to bring out the shadow areas in such a way that completes the image. The fall of light through the doorway is a foil for the windmill, as well as an excellent lead in. Love it! 66 Jun 19 Comment Chuck,
You continue to wow me with color IR. I really need to learn how to do it. (One day!) The scene is gorgeous with a lovely composition leading me right through the image. The mono portion could use a little brightening to bring out the whites. The sky and clouds are perfect.

66 Jun 19 Comment Ah Jack, A little different from your usual style. I am enjoying the softness of the leaves against the strong graphic pattern. It is a very strong composition. Yes, details on the leaves add to it, but I think I like it either way. Jun 11th
66 Jun 19 Comment Ernie,
You have the ability find (see) such different subjects. I too am drawn to reflections and this is a great one. one can see both graphic and scape qualities, which is unusual. There is a crispness here that can only be achieved with IR. I like that it is dark at both the base and top. The clouds are dramatic and the buildings sparkle.
I do agree that the base should be cropped. Well done!

66 Jun 19 Comment Thanks all for the comments which were most helpful. I did use detail extractor just on the prominent trees and also cropped the left hand side and blurred the background. I think it is much improved and not nearly as busy. Jun 11th
66 Jun 19 Comment I have uploaded a new image for Gary to include the preferred stroke around his image Jun 2nd
