Hi Emil,
I always find that when confronted by a scene such as this, it is difficult to know what and what not to include. I really like what you have presented here. Makes me want to explore. I do think there is a sameness in the tones throughout and would like to see the limbs darker than the base foliage. Lightening the base would give more depth and make the limbs stand out. what do you think? |

Hi Palli,
Such an inviting scene. I like the balance between the shore and the rock. The wave line is positioned to lead right to your main subject. Great job!. I feel that as the sky is not very interesting, I would crop as much as possible out. Good warm tones. |

Hi Gary, Yes it is very bold, but it works. The distant hill may be a little bright, but it helps to make the rider stand out. To me it is so typical of Cuba. An empty road and the never ending lines of electric poles. Great decision to make it a vertical as it places the subject in a perfect spot. Love the shadow on the road. Do you think the trees on the right would be better with less contrast? Hoping to see more from Cuba. |

Hi Jack,
I think the area is great for IR. The landscape shapes are so amazing and what you present here is no exception. I like the sky, but would prefer more contrast on the rocks which I think will give more definition. You wonder about the trees, but I think whiter would be a personal preference and is not in keeping with your usual tones. It's lovely! |
