Gary, I really love that you take the time to show me what could be done with my pictures. I have just got topaz detail and am looking forward to using it. I presume is is much better than detail extractor in Nic. |

This is a great subject for IR. I can certainly see why it appealed to you. I think you would have had a more dramatic picture if you had moved closer, taken it from a lower angle to include more sky! (Unlike Jack's view). There looks to be some interesting clouds which may have added to your image. I really like the whole of the left side and want to go down into the foliage there.

Gary,
The tree and overhang is gorgeous against the dramatic sky. I wonder if you were able to move a few steps to the right which would have excluded the house on the lower right, still shown the tree and moved the stop sign away from the center. I keep feeling that I would like to be able to see more of the lovely old house behind it. Does that make it just an ordinary image though, and would you still have had the sign look as it does? |

Jack, I love the simplicity of your image. I do like the toning you have chosen. The lower third is perfect and the hill detail adds to the picture. I would like to see just a little more in the clouds. Not quite as much a Palli has in his version. |

Hi Craig,
you have shown this image before - October 2016 I think. I still like the idea and enjoy the wonderful textures. I do find the lower left a bit distracting as well as the metal plate towards the center. I'm sure if darkened, it would bring out the lovely vine even more. |
