It certainly is other worldly. I think you have achieved what you set out to do. I think that in order to have the full effect of the impressionist filter, it needs to be cropped a lot more. I especially find the top left distracting. The filter has removed any detail in bird which I do see in the original. Could you bring any of it back in as the bird is now very bright. Cool idea though. Might be great on foliage. |

Well seen. Simple and effective. The color has been discussed, so no need here. I think the important part of the image is the tree branch and I want to get closer to that. I would crop it, taking off the left with the uninteresting tree trunk, the dark area on the right and about half of the of the water on the bottom. |

Palli, Thanks for showing an image especially for me!
I feel like a stupid tourist. Did we just not notice it and miss it? We drove from Melbourne to the Twelve Apostles?
Anyway it is such an interesting building, reminding me of the kind of stuff Frank Gehry did. I do like the changes made by Gary. Makes for a more dramatic showing. I must admit that I am not a fan of the noise in this image. Well seen aand a good capture. |

There is some luminosity to the picture, helped by the starburst sun. The light on the leaves is lovely. I do like ge strong shadows which act as a lead in. Not sure what is going on in the bottom right, but understand that cropping would remove the shadows.

Whoops to the cloning marks. Thanks for pointing them out. In relooking at the butterfly, I should have cropped it a lot closer and not worried about the clouds at all |
