I like your concept but the execution seems kind of messy. Lots of different elements seeming to clash -- crunched up background, different circles competing with the bigger circle. By the way, I just got a Canon R5. Great camera and super sharp images. |

I can always depend on you to come up with something new and creative. Nice job. I like Jerry's comment: I feel like I'm being sucked into a time warp whirlpool. |

Couple of things: To me, there are too many elements that stray from the subject of circles. Marti is spot on by suggesting focusing on only one headlight. I also think it is way oversaturated for my taste. However, I won't quarrel if you prefer that look. I do think the shot is too soft, especially when you have a stationary subject (this thing sure isn't going anywhere!!) |

I actually had a similar image but decided not to submit it. It was a line of big, round hay bales (we see a lot of these in the Texas Hill Country.) Mine certainly wasn't a good as yours! I do like the sky blue colors. They give the image some pop. Also great job of keeping everything in sharp focus.

Very creative and artistic! I agree that this would look good on metallic paper. Might be a nice show piece in a modern art museum. I also like Marti's suggestion about putting a slight vignette around the edges to better focus the eye on the center. |

Thanks but I didn't add a stroke or border. I only adjusted the bright white of the sliver of the sun to the golden yellow. The yellow was how it really appeared. The camera exposure blew out the yellow to make it white. |

Interesting. I didn't add a border. The sun was much brighter than the darkness. This caused the whites to be blown out. I simply adjusted the white sunlight to yellow to reflect its authentic appearance.

Sorry but I don't know what you mean by a stroke. Thanks. |

If I were in your place, I'd take this exact same shot as a record and reminder of a nice trip I had there. |

This is a well-composed image. I like how you framed the river, the path and buildings to pull the eye into the image. However, I agree with Michele that I don't know what the subject is. The bridge is very ordinary and not particularly attractive. Again, great composition but lacking a clear focal point. |

This is an exceptionally beautiful image. I agree with John about the sky. To me, it is overly bright and makes the image appear unbalanced. It draws attention away from the serene water, bridge and mountains. I think simply reducing the luminance to better balance the rest of the photo would be a good solution. |

I agree with Michele about the image. The one thing I found distracting, however, is the branch or line standing straight up between the limb of the trees and the left edge of the creek. Maybe you could remove that. It just looks a little weird and off-putting for such a nice photo. |

You a wonderfully tranquil scene that beautifully conveys a serenity and peacefulness. Looks like a place one could just sit, relax and let all the worries in the world float away. Good choice to process in B&W and you captured an extra-sharp image from front to back. Also, good placement of the watchtower so that it's off-center. |

I recognize this image from July 2024. Looks like you took another swing at processing, adding a much more HD tone to it. I like how you reduced the blue tint and enhanced the colors much more. I don't know if this was your intent, but to me it depicts a really grimy city. Glad I don't have to breathe that air! |
