Mr. Magoo is the perfect name for this image. You can definitely make out smushed up face. Congratulations on spotting this interesting rock formation. Due to the lack of color in the original, this was the perfect subject to convert to monochrome. Nicely done. |

Lovely portrait of a nice old building. Reminds me of the Walker Evans styles from the 1930s that were captured with the big view cameras and black-and-white film. |

This is definitely a classic fountain and I can see why it captured your attention. Nice rendering in black-and-white. Perfect focus. I do find the background so cluttered that it's extremely difficult to separate that from the fountain. It all seems mushed together. Wonder what would happen if you darkened the background some to better distinguish it from your main subject, the fountain. |

I never know where to expect your next image is taken. I do enjoy seeing all the places you visit. This is a very interesting and well-done shot of a temple. You did a great job of removing the people. Just keep in mind that sometimes leaving people in the image add more visual interest. Your image is well composed shot with the bridge leading the eye directly to the main point of interest, the temple. This would be a nice shot if you were preparing a travel brochure for this area of China. |

You always have the most striking of images. I've seen dozens of photos of these sea stacks in Oregon. Your capture is among the best. Great composition, exposure, etc. Very smart to check the sunset to know exactly how to envision and plan your shot. I also love the gull hovering above the water. I'm especially impressed that you got such a sharp image hand-holding a 150-600mm lens, even at 1/500 second. These lenses aren't extremely heavy but they do have more weight than a more normal lens and are more apt to show camera shake. You have sturdier hands than I do! |

This is an excellent composition. The rocks in the foreground anchor the image and the water leads the eye to the rest of the cove. Lots of interesting details in the boats and structures along the shoreline. Everything is in perfect focus. And plus, you had a beautiful sky as a backdrop. My only concern is that the rocks and rust-colored algae (?) in the foreground appear a little over-saturated and unnatural. I suggest dialing that back a bit. |

This is a strikingly beautiful, peaceful image. I love how you captured the soft pastel colors. You also made the right composition decision when you moved the boat to the right. I think this would be a gorgeous print to enlarge, frame and hang on a wall. Outstanding work! |
