I don't think it bland at all. Really nice composition that would make a nice print. I was bothered by the bright spot in the upper left corner. I suggest darkening it so that it doesn't attract the viewer's eye. |

Beautiful colors against the dark background. Perfectly focused. Since it isn't apparent that the parrot is entangled in the cage wire, the result to me is that the dark, blurry wires are distracting and messy. |

I was fortunately able to visit the "original" Old Tucson before it burned down. Can't say that the rebuilt version captured the authentic feel that it once had. I do like the treatment you gave to the old stagecoach. Looks like something that would make a nice notecard that you could sell there. |

Excellent job removing the blue things and green leaves protruding from the left side. I've never seen one of the bubbles before, so I wouldn't have been able to understand what it was without your explanation. I found the green grass stems protruding from the water messy and distracting. Maybe you can do a little more processing and remove them. |

Love the composition. Unfortunately, it is terribly out of focus. Hope you are feeling better now. |

What a mess! This shot would be an excellent image to show local officials in order to get some folks out there to clean this dump up. A few hands, shovels and trash bags would do a lot for this place. I can imagine what a beautiful shoreline this actually is without all the rubbish. I agree with Spring that your work is very impactful. |

This must have been a beautiful walk! Gorgeous landscape overlooking a luscious valley. I enjoy looking at these images but sometimes, as with this, I find myself searching for a focal point to anchor the shot. Other than seeing a pretty valley, I can't find anything that really attracts my eye. I can see why you'd want this to remember your trip but I think others might appreciate it more if you could narrow the overall vision down to a town, building, house, etc. with the valley as a backdrop. You did an excellent job of keeping everything in focus and perfectly exposed. |

Your choice to adjust the color image to a monochrome was a great idea that resulted in a dramatic effect, reminiscent of the black-and-white masters of the 1930s and 40s. You left the right amount of sea and sky that works to provide the lightroom with a context for where it stands. Perfectly exposed and sharp throughout. |

I love seeing images from other parts of the world. You captured a beautiful waterfall in a part of the world that I've never been to. Your choice of a slow shutter speed was excellent. It provided a dreamy, silky texture to the water. The green foliage is gorgeous, but to me the green colors seem off and unnatural. I suggest dialing the saturation back a tad or making a slight adjustment to the temp or tone. Otherwise, an excellent composition and image. |

You're following in the footsteps of Ansel Adams! In 1960, he captured his famous "Moon and Half Dome" with a Hasselblad camera near this very spot behind the Ahwahee Hotel. I grabbed nearly the identical composition as you in 2017. You have an excellent sense of composition as demonstrated by the ice anchoring the image in the foreground that points to the river leading to Half Dome. The foreground seems a little too dark. Lightening the shadows might be a good fix. Also, the branches hanging from the left seem messy and distracting. If you had been able, it might have helped to step more to your right to avoid them. |
