As is usually the case, Isaac's cropping is spot on. Just a few minor changes really helped bring the focus on the bird, while also continuing to provide the environmental setting to illustrate its habitat. |

Like others, I agree with Isaac and believe his editing made a world of difference. Nice capture. |

Welcome to our group! You've done a wonderful job here and I look forward to seeing more of your work. Just as a note: If you ever wish to enter nature or bird shots like this in photo contests, you cannot add or manipulate the image by adding a bird or bees. The images have to be natural, with only normal processing for exposure, cropping, etc. Having said that, I love how you created such a compelling and action-oriented photo. |

Beautifully captured fall colors. The only downside is that the shoreline cuts exactly through the middle of the image. You could easily fix this by either cropping a bit off the top or the bottom. |

This is a very pretty, well-composed shot, perfectly executed. Makes me want to visit! And if it has that impact, I feel sure you've achieved your goal. |

Great capture. I won't repeat the other comments except to say that I agree with them. |

I tend to agree with Tom about preferring the original. Perfectly composed but the posted version, to me at least, seems too gritty and overly processed. I like the softness of the original, though the original could benefit from opening up the exposure during post-processing a stop or two. |

A really lovely image and beautifully composed. I do think the bright sunlit background in the distance is a little too bright, which tends to draw the eye there instead of into the pond and pretty leaves. I think doing a simple brush stroke in the background, and then lowering the exposure a stop or two would fix that problem. |

I agree with Nigel about losing a bit at the bottom. This would lower the waterfall in the frame, so that it doesn't cut the image in half. I think the waterfall adds a nice feature to the image and helps sets off the scene nicely. |

Thank you for your comments. I'm attaching the original to show how much processing was involved. |
