A spectacular shot. Great action and story telling. You especially did a perfect job of getting such a sharp focus on a bird in flight. I actually prefer the javelin version. I've seen lots of photos of birds carrying sticks and branches. The javelin shot looks very unique. However, both are excellent. |

This is a very pretty image. Great colors in the bird and I love the soft green background. Isaac did a good job of adjusting the light a bit to better separate the beak from the background. |

This is a great capture. Great story telling and visual appeal. You definitely were in the right place at the right time. The mass of white caddis balance the white horses. I'm especially impressed that you got such a sharp image by handholding the camera. |

Ha! I saw the real thing on my morning walk today! You did a good job of capturing this. Unfortunately, it seems very static and lacks visual interest. It would be great if you could add a keyboard or something but I'm definitely not the one to tell you how to do it. |

Perfect composition. Good job of keeping a sharp focus throughout. Like the others, I feel the two women blend in with the background, making them hard to see. Wish they were more prominent because they would have really captured the eye and brought us much more into the image. |

This is a great image. At first, I thought it was overly processed but the more I look at it, the more I like what you've done. The composition is perfect and the truck definitely adds a point of interest. The only thing I'm wondering about is the edge of the waterfall in the lower right. I'm thinking that the bright white might lead the eye off the page. I'm also wondering if this have been improved by including more of the waterfall to even better define the building as an old mill. I'm looking forward to what others think about this. |

Beautiful composition. I could stand all day in that same spot and just watch the ocean. In the distance, it appears there is a lot of haze in the air, no doubt from the dark clouds and moisture from the water. Wonder if you might see how using the dehaze feature in your post-processing might reduce it. However, the haze does add an artistic touch. Just a matter of what you prefer. |

This is a pleasant composition. It's a perfect balance between the sky, clouds, bridge and water. I also like how you captured the curve of the bridge. This makes it a more interesting photo than if it had been simply straight across. Unfortunately, the sunlight peering through the clouds looks like the highlights are blown out. I'm not sure there's a way to tone them down, unless you tried using a neutral density filter when you shot the image or a gradient filter in post-processing. Except for that, you've done a very nice job. |

This is a knock-out image! Great light, terrific sun rays and beautiful colors. The ND10 filter worked wonders here. Can't think of a thing to improve this award-winning photo. |
