Thank you. I've seen coyotes wander among the Sandhill Cranes many times. They seem to ignore each other. |

Great photographers work alike! I want to overlay your use of a tripod with Joe's comments about his using a tripod. In both instances, you and Joe have created extremely sharp images. You've done a great job of combining the images. It's a pretty landscape, especially when it doesn't cost $4,000! |

You're exactly right about carrying a tripod -- they're a pain in the neck but most often useful, especially in capturing landscapes and scenes like this. I'm impressed by how sharp you got the entire image. That definitely takes some skills. Your processing was excellent. I only wish the couple had been in the center of the road, rather than to the side. But you've gotta work with what you have! |

You captured a nice composition -- the baby snuggled in its mother's arms and then cradled in the arms of the tree. Your original looked very soft. You did a great job of sharpening the image. Overall, your processing greatly improved your original shot |

You did a very nice job of processing this image. I think you achieved exactly what you intended. Personally, I like the natural look of your original. With some processing, I suggest it would look great with the light streaming in and the shadows lightened. Just my personal flavor but yours is wonderful, too. |

Beautiful image. Nicely composed with the path leading into the image. I agree with the comments about cropping a little. |

Really nice composition. I won't repeat what others have said. In future situations like this, Nigel's suggestion about using a ND filter might help, either on the camera or in post-processing. Another option would be to hang around a few more minutes and see if the sun goes behind the clouds. |

Gorgeous image. I do agree that you need a little more foreground to have the scene resting on something. |

You're exactly right about the sharpness. I liked the composition but knew it wasn't what it should be. I shot it with my previous Brand X telephoto lens. I recently sold it and bought a Canon 100-400, which already is producing sharper images. Hopefully, the next time I see something like this I, or the lens, can do a better job of capturing it. |
