Although they may not technically be blown out, the cliffs along the right side look "hot" to me and tend to pull the eye off the page. Maybe you could darken them a bit to better balance the rest of the image. Jan 10th

71 Jan 22 Comment You did a nice job of blending the Pacific Ocean storm clouds with the Arizona desert. I also like the leading lines of the highway into the image. I wonder what this would look like in color, since there doesn't seem to be enough contrast to warrant a black and white. Also, I'm having trouble determining what the subject of your photo is -- looks to me like it's just a leading line into the horizon. Maybe this would have worked better if you had selected a specific element and made that the subject rather than a broad expanse of empty land. Jan 10th
71 Jan 22 Comment What a beautiful capture! You've got two excellent leading lines into the image -- the line of trees on the left and the faint trail or roadway in the middle. I also think your processing enhanced the image as well. Nice work! Jan 3rd
71 Jan 22 Comment You continue to hit these night shots out of the park! I don't have any suggestions on how to improve this one, expect to watch out for rattlesnakes as you're walking around in the dark! Jan 3rd
71 Jan 22 Comment This is a beautiful shot. I love the colors on the hill, the reflections in the water, etc., i.e. this is a wonderful composition. The only thing that distracted me was the blurred stone wall. I think the wall is a perfect anchor for the image but I believe if you use it that way, it needs to be in focus. Otherwise, again, this was a great capture. Jan 3rd
