I agree with the comments above. I think you also have the ability to work with this image to create an entirely new look. I would crop down on some of the branches protruding from the water. By focusing on a smaller scale, you could have an interesting abstract of the stems, shadows and pretty colors in the water. This isn't to distract from the nice landscape you've done, but simply a suggestion about how you can gain another, different image from this. |

I really enjoy abstract images. This is a great subject for a photograph. I like your version and I think Stephen's edits make it especially powerful. |

What a lovely image! You got everything tack sharp. You also did a nice job of replacing the sky -- I can't find any halo along the edge of the bluffs, which often happens when someone does something like you did. My only suggestion is to crop more from the bottom. I like the leading lines the foreground provides but so much rock at the bottom detracts from the beautiful sky and colors on the bluffs. Keep the foreground but maybe crop about a third of it off. |

I actually prefer your original image much better. You have nice colors on the trees and bring out the lightness of the snow. Unfortunately, at least on my monitor, both the original and modified version appear extremely out of focus and overly grainy. |

Beautiful scene and perfect capture. I especially like how you managed to keep everything in focus and how you positioned the river to pull us into the frame. The colors are gorgeous. Wonderful job. |
