I've seen lots of images of bison in Yellowstone during the winter. The fact that you captured one that is covered in snow is the most unique I've ever seen. It's always great to come upon something fresh like this. Shooting a dark object like the bison in the white snow is a tricky exposure to get. But you nailed it. The only suggestion I'd make is to crop a little more off the top. To me, you seem to have a little too much empty space. Cropping just a little would help even more to bring attention to the bison. |

A wonderful shot! Two things I especially like about it. First, you captured the background and mountains that set the scene for the environment in which the moose lives. And second, the entire image has almost a painting quality to it. The yellow fall colors just pop. |

What a creative shot! Wonderful colors, great composition and story telling. I noticed that you may have missed part of cloning out the second dolphin. There is some grey matter on the water line above this dolphin. It looks like it is top part of the dolphin you removed. |

Congratulations on finding the large elk. They are magnificent creatures! Unfortunately, you didn't have a lot of choice in positioning him. The tree limbs and background are distracting. For example, his left horns are so co-mingled with the branches that they are lost. I also noticed that the areas behind his mouth look blown-out, compared with your original. He isn't quite sharp in focus and there are strange wavy lines in the background in both your original and modified versions. In the future, you might dial back the saturation and post-processing a bit. I think the original made him more appealing than your edited version. |

That should read: "The cityscape part is wonderful..." I need to do a better job of proofreading! |

This image is so well done that I'm sure any florist would love to have it to showcase their work. I especially like how you got the front rose in sharp focus while softening just slightly the other roses and background. I also think you did an outstanding job of making the colors just pop. |

The cityscape part of wonderful. You did a great job of focusing and getting the perfect exposure. I also like the soft blue tint of the sky and buildings. The drawback to me were the trees in the foreground. I realize you took the shot from where you were standing and couldn't ask the trees to move out of the way. I think this is an example where you have a one-half perfect image that is hampered by objects in your way that you can't control. Hopefully, you can find an unspoiled view of the skyline. You've got the technique to capture it down pat. |

A beautifully captured tranquil scene. I especially like the focus on the flowers in the foreground with the soft focus on the building in the background. I do suggest you make this a vertical. I think there is a lot of uninteresting empty space on the right. I'd crop off the small flower on the right and make this a vertical to bring the attention to the larger flower and background structure. Looking forward to seeing more images from this estate! |
