Thanks for your encouraging comments. I definitely need to practice more but it's good to hear that this wasn't a total disaster! |

This is one of those "I wish I were there" shots. Especially since we had to cancel our fall vacation to the Sawtooth Mountains due to surge in Covid-19 cases. |

I agree with Joe and especially his comment about how you were able to lighten that balloon on the left. This image pops with color and excitement! |

You did an excellent job of capturing the golden colors. I especially like how you kept the entire image in focus! |

I like the composition of your image, especially how the two piers lead the eye to the sunset. I'm especially impressed about how you kept the entire image in focus, from the nearest to the farthest points. I don't think you bumped up the oranges and yellows too much. They seem very natural to me. |

Great black and white. Like the way you capture the sun rays reaching from the clouds to the water. Very Ansel Adams of you. The small boats didn't bother me because they are so tiny. If you look carefully at Ansel Adams' photos, you'll also find autos, power lines, highways, etc. Sometimes that's just part of the setting. |

I agree with Paul about cropping some on the right because the bright light of the house detracts from the main focal point of the moon. I like how the wood structure in the foreground anchors the image. Have fun with your new filter! |
