Love it. Also agree with Joe about removing that tiny tip of white at the edge of her dress. The dark background perfectly sets this one off. |

I love this image and think you did a magnificent job processing it. Great composition to start with, too. The only minor point I'd mention is that it seems a tad dark to me. Wonder how it would look if you increased the exposure a stop or two. |

I can tell that you had some fun processing this image. I think you did a great job and accomplished exactly what you set out to do. I also think your original is a nice composition and would make an attractive image with just a few adjustments in post-processing. |

I agree with Marti that this is among your best works. Outstanding processing. Reminds me of paintings by 19th century master artists. Question: What lens did you use on your 7D? |

I agree with the comments above. Ordinarily, I don't mind items like roads in an image (check out Ansel Adams' landscapes and you'll find them in quite a lot of his iconic images.) The only problem I have with the road in this image is that it doesn't look like a road -- it looks like a line across the image, i.e. a mistake. Hope you can work on this to remove it as you have a beautiful shot otherwise. |

I took it at sunrise closer to the main entrance, rather than farther down in the park. As you enter the park there are several park roads leading to the east. I believe it was the first or second of these. Sunrise is usually the best time to shoot since most of the rock formations are on the east side and catch the morning light. Be prepared--it can be awfully cold!! We also had snow nearly every day. |

I've seen hundreds of images from this part of the world. After a while, they all blur together. I congratulate you on coming up with a fresh composition and perspective. The black and white treatment works perfectly here. Great job taking a fresh look at a much-photographed subject. |

I like the way you used the bridge to anchor the image. This give it a good focal point. I suggest trying a graduated filter for the top part of the image to lesson the brightness of the mountain. Better yet, try using an adjustment brush along that very white, nearly blown-out, section of the mountain in order to lower the exposure. |

This is a serene, peaceful image. It fills me with tranquility just looking at it. The soft colors are a perfect compliment for the texture on the beach. I love the way you captured the pier jutting toward the sunrise. Nice job. |
