You did a nice composition. The fishermen actually didn't bother me. In fact, you might have gotten closer to the one in the middle and used him/her to anchor the shot and give it more of a focal point. Looks like this was also shot toward mid-day, which resulted in some flat lighting, especially on the mountains. |

I agree with your assessment. Great action photo but it looks like the trees are moving but the bike rider is standing still. |

You did an excellent job of transforming this into black and white. While I appreciate that you were trying to capture the character of the old ramp, in my opinion the image doesn't have a particularly strong subject. Might have helped if there were a particular object that would be a place to focus on. |

What a lovely shot. Love the backlit reeds and how to placed the sun slightly off center. Look forward to more of your shots from your new home. |

This is a great composition. Although the general rule states that the horizon, such as distant shoreline, shouldn't be in the middle, rules can be broken. In your case, having the image perfectly divided to create a mirror copy of the mountain ranges in the glassy smooth lake is just perfect. I do think the colors are quite garish and overly saturated. They don't look natural to me. That's an easy adjustment to make in your post-processing. |

A beautiful, serene composition. Love the silvery tint. Wouldn't change a thing. |
