Obviously, I was confused about the purpose of the assignment. I understood that we were to evaluate the image and then prepare a revised version. |

You took a very unusual approach in improving this image. In my opinion, you did a wonderful job with all of the elements you worked with. I especially like the addition of the figure beyond the controls. To me, this is an image that would work well in a children's story book about a train or someone riding on the train. Great job. |

I love what you'd done to this image. What you achieved took some work and skills and your ability shines through. To me, this looks like an authentic 19th Century train steaming out of a station. And best of all, I think it looks like the photograph itself was taken at that time. A very nice job. |

I think you and Vicki both did a creative job of transporting the train into an entirely new setting. Marti, I think this a nicely blended job against a beautiful backdrop. Everything is extremely sharp and focused. A couple of nit-picking point: The black crossing in front of the engine looks out of place to me. Maybe you could use your PS skills and replace it with dirt or gravel. |

What an original concept! I think you did a fabulous job of using PS to transport this train to a different landscape. This is nit-picking but to me the sidewalk or crossing in front looks out of place in the rural setting. Perhaps you could use your PS skills to remove the crossing and replace it with something you'd find out in the woods. |
