Thanks for your input Steve. Actually the pathway is oatmeal rather than seeds but I get your drift. And I should have used a brown brush rather than a black one for the shadow. |

A very well done composite Candy. The frog looks like he's navigating the leaf-ship with the "gearshift" (is that the pistil?) I think your addition of the cosmic atmosphere was a great idea. Nicely executed. |

Your original image of the architecture is wonderful, especially the contrast between the cool blues and warm yellows. In my opinion, keeping the warm colors at the bottom would give the image more of an aggressive (invasive) quality. The contrails of the jets are very alien looking in your revision, so I think your edit was spot-on there. Nicely done! |

Another interesting abstract here Steve. It's very similar in color palette and mood to several others you've done over the past few months. I would encourage you to spread your creative and artistic wings a bit and create an image that's strikingly different from your previous ones. I'd love to see what you would come up with if you explored a new genre or tried unfamiliar PS filters or techniques. Ideas are to be found everywhere in everyday life, if only we are observant and open to challenging ourselves beyond what feels comfortable. I intended these comments to be encouraging rather than critical, so I hope you'll view them in that way. Our various creative journeys have so many wonderful possibilities. |

All of your choices in creating this image worked beautifully. The contrast of the sharpness of the birds in comparison to the blurred background makes them really stand out, and you captured wonderful poses of each one. My first thought was the same as Steve's that the sticks needed to be tweaked a bit so they didn't look identical; his version worked well. I felt like I was witnessing a wonderful "bird ballet" when I first saw this image. Well done Frans! |

Super image Mike. I love the effect the Abstraction put on the tree leaves -- they really pop out of the image. I'm glad you removed the person walking in the trees; he would have distracted from the overall scene. I also like the deer walking out of the trees, rather than into them. My only suggestion would be to add a slight vignette to reduce the bright spot on the mid-lower right edge. Very nice treatment; it was the perfect adaptation for this particular scene. |

This is great fun Steve. Medusa is quite eerie and her eyes are so detailed and crisp. The selection of the background was a nice idea and I really like the way the women are rising out of the water. Just a minor nit-pick... the green makeup on Medusa could use a bit of touch up at her hairline. Excellent composite! |

Thanks Mike -- great ideas for improvement. Actually, there are no mushrooms in the mix. The mountains are loaves of bread and the clouds are popcorn, if one of those is what you thought were mushrooms. I did try making the windows and doors out of food, but it didn't translate clearly to being a barn, and I decided it was important that the viewer know right away that the apple was a barn in order for the rest of the image to make sense. |

Oh yes, I remember this guy! Such fun. I'll very much look forward to your piscatorian or carnivore character. |
