Great creative idea Frans! The reflection created in your original has wonderful colors and would make a very nice abstract in its own right. I agree with Gunter and Steve regarding the number of objects. You did a great job of enhancing the sphere and I absolutely love the swirly background. Very nice! |

Whimsical image Steve. Nicely composited. The starry sky and the Stars and Stripes background were great ideas. I like the Uncle Sam part of the image, but it feels to me like Lady Liberty should be the main subject, so I would suggest making her larger, her base a bit smaller, and Uncle Sam maybe with a tad less opacity. You've had a bit of good fun with the Steampunks. It's wonderful to see you back at it after the long wasteland of Covid! |

This is nice Gunter. Duplicating the leaves and layering them was a good idea. When I first saw it, I thought what a fun image to tinker with, so I played around with it a bit. It seems I was working on my version at the very same moment that Steve was working on his. I started with your original and zoomed in a bit to reduce it down to an odd number of subjects and simplify it some. I applied a Solarization filter in Nik and Glow/Bokeh filter in On1. I think it would look best placed on an angle, but I was losing too much of the image to do it with your original. I like the detail you captured in your original. Well done! |

Ah yes, that's a lot better. I worked on a different image for this month and ended up trashing it, so this one was sort of a last minute substitute. Thank you Gunter! |
