Dance of the turning terns! ;) Experimenting with PS filters is such fun. There are so many wonderful effects to be found. You've done a good job of applying the distort filter without going overboard. Placing the result on the vortex and blurred sky was a good idea. I like Steve's interpretation with a bit more detail and contrast, but your softer version works well too. |

Cool image Fran. Sounds like you had fun experimenting. I have that app and if it's the same one, there's a color selector in the "edit effects" menu. Your fish are the perfect addition to the altered scene. I like the way they appear to be swimming toward some mysterious underwater black hole, er - purple hole. Very creative composite! |

Fabulous edit Candy! The sleeping cat must have been having a tasty dream, since his tongue was in just the right position for your final composite. You did a great job of integrating in the open eyes and bringing out such nice detail. Your cropping is just right. Very well composited. |

Great image Steve. I'm worried for your seaman; it seems the storms have ill intent for him, with the menacing, ghostly Goths nearby. You did an excellent job of integrating everything together. The colors are so nice; I love the little hint of blue in the water at the bottom. The graininess of the image works beautifully too. Nicely done! |

Ah yes, Blarney indeed ;) Your edit is a nice improvement Steve. I added the fog as an afterthought and when I extracted the leprechaun I guess I used too soft a brush. Here's an early "Slainte" for when you raise your Guinness! |
