Thanks Alan. My husband and I create Steampunk lamps, plant ornaments, and photos that we sell in various local shops. Original 2 was a quick snapshot of a store display with a few of our plant ornaments. It made a good doodle, but not a very good shot if you're wondering what the heck they are. Our website is www.coddiwomple-designs.com if your curiosity is piqued enough to check out some better shots. My favorite libation depends on the time of year; at the moment it's a margarita in the hot weather! |

Your Granddaughter is lovely and your treatment of her portrait has a beautiful feel to it. I'm sure she'll treasure it for many years. Nicely done. |

I like the story you've presented here Georgianne. I'm also a fan of old buildings so I really like your treatment to the right of the flower. The sunlit leaves to the left of the flower seem a bit distracting to my eye. So I tried adding a spotlight effect in PS (Render>Lighting Effect>Spotlight) to highlight the moth and stamen. Once I did that I decided to see what it would look like to place the head of the moth and the stamen more in the rule of thirds upper left quadrant and kind of liked it because it meant the old building got to stay in the image. |

Very nice image Alan! I like the way you toned down the foreground walls, but kept their diagonal lines to lead the eye to the vendor. I think both Steve's and Georgianne's revisions are valid. One additional nitpicky suggestion would be to clone out the shadow of whatever is on the wall above the vendor's cart (maybe it's a street lamp?) to remove the distraction. The mood in your image is nostalgic and serene. Nice post-processing! |

Great composite Steve! You always do such a great job of enhancing your portraits without overdoing it. Your technique of placing the water droplets both behind and in front of the Goth was super! I like Georgianne's version too, as it amps up the contrast between the three elements. Your work on the spider was also great. Well done! |

And a nice doodle it is! It sounds like you have way more playing apps and plugins than I do. I get kind of stuck using my favorites and don't explore for new ones as often as I should. I'm glad to know you're a fellow-doodler! |

Thanks Georgianne. I haven't printed the flower, but I was thinking it might look nice printed on metal. Not sure it's special enough to justify the expense though. |
