Thanks Georgianne. Steampunk is such a fun and flexible genre and I'm glad to have a fellow convert! |

My sympathies on your computer woes. The colors in this are great, especially the iridescent blue. I hope your new techie will come through for you. |

This is very nice Denise. The light that you added on Merlin is beautiful. You did a great job of shadowing beneath him on the rock too. My first impression of his hand in the water was that there needed to be some splashing up around it a bit since it's a running brook. I like Steve's addition of the frog. Also, Merlin seems to have lost the upper part of his bow (above his arm). All in all, a lovely image that takes the viewer to a lovely place. |

I like the colors in this very much. The hint of blue up at the top gives it a nice twist. Your rainy window is a great idea and I'm glad you covered up or cloned out the straight line in the original. I might have extended the branch on the right so it continued out of the scene. Lovely image. |

This is a very interesting image, Alan. Creating art is such a journey and inspiration can happen in an instant. Michael's is actually one of my favorite places to go for cell phone shots to incorporate into composites -- so many possibilities! I especially like the fact that your image is not an exact mirroring of left to right. The light block on the left creates so much more interest than if it wasn't there. I applaud your tenacity with the gradient tool; I've experienced the same frustration many times. I also like your title. Nicely done! |

Oh, I love this one Steve. The sunburst at the lower edge of the sphere is great. And in addition to the barnacles, there are even snails. Keep that snail in mind when you see my image for next month -- if it all works out as I intend, at least. |

You've processed this beautifully, Candy. I agree with the other comments. If I were to offer a small suggestion, it might be to clone out the light schmutz spot in the corner of the horse's eye and maybe add a small catch light, since the eye is the star of the image. This is totally nit-picking though. Your filly is lovely and the close up imparts a sense of intimacy with your subject. |

This is great Steve. The blurred background really makes the upside down image in the sphere take center stage. I'm having a bit of trouble understanding how "Original 1" works in to this concept?!:) The upgraded base for the sphere is perfect. Cropping off the lower part of the base makes sense to keep attention on the sphere, but I really like the barnacles and seaweed in Original 3. That's almost another image in its own right. I notice there are no people in any of your shots. Did you have this lovely beach all to yourself when you shot it, or did you delete them in post processing? You have shot, composed, and processed this image beautifully. Well done! |

Thanks Steve. Very cool that you got up close and personal with one of the original airships. They carry a certain nostalgia by their very nature. Did your refrigeration course have something to do with the fact that they were producing hydrogen on site, or just a coincidence? |
