Your treatment here is unique and works well with the image. I do agree with the other comments about taking out the black smudge and the Bell logo. How nice that you have such a cutie stopping by your house and posing for you! Nice capture! |

Looks like you had a lot of fun with this Georgianne. I especially like the upper part of your original where the loop and criss cross panels of glass are. The techniques you used had a cool effect there as well. Maybe cropping just below the loop would address the busyness issues expressed by others. I like the creativity you used to completely transform your image. Well done! |

This is great Phil. Is your scanner a special photo scanner, or just a plain everyday office/home scanner? It captured a lot of nice detail for being such a large and round object. I really like your swirl addition too. Very cool! |

This is a fun transformation Candy. Your original is really lovely and would be fun to play with in all sorts of ipad apps. I would try but I have an ancient ipad and it finally refused to accept a new upgrade and won't download new photos. Oh well, time to save up for a new one. I see the lips Helen is referring to. Nice image. |

A peaceful, restful image most definitely. I love what you did with the coloring of the waves, and I think it was a good move to reduce the saturation a bit from your Original 1 Enhanced Waves. As I was analyzing the image, I noticed the shadow on the largest groyne in the foreground was at a different angle than all the others, so I started to point that out (assuming they were from different photos taken at different times of day), but then I noticed your Original 2 Groynes and they're the same there. I'm baffled as to why those shadow angles are so different in the same shot. What am I missing? Your tranquil image makes me want to go for a walk on the beach. Well done! |

Thanks Helen. Actually, I think you're referring to the stem of the rose cluster rather than an electrical cord. I guess all the processing had a not-so-great effect on it and it doesn't look like a stem anymore. Good to know! |
