Agree with Dennis. I was about to try the same cropping as he did. I think it's less confusing this way, but still not sure what is the story there. What the author was trying to say. Not much is happening on the lake. |

Agree with the above. There is not enough dynamic range here, in my opinion. I assume when you look at the histogram the left and right sides will have no data. I might try to work with the black slider to add true black. But that's me -- everyone is entitled to their own opinion. |

For me, the image doesn't work since the background is too prevalent here. That image might be a good case for an infra-red photography when green becomes white and that will add a good visual separation between the subject and background. |

For me, there are two pictures. The staircase is one and the column walls is another. My eye jumps back and forth between the two and that's not good, in my opinion. |

Interesting shot. The timing is perfect. The dark background is a problem for me -- it feels unnatural. I would open shadows a bit. Not much, but it would be helpful to see what's there. |
