I agree. I questioned whether it was in Las Vegas also, so I explored the mountains around the outskirts to find it. Very interesting. |

You caught a wonderful moment, Leo. I do like the edit which Bunny Made. It draws you into their interaction without the distractions. Bunny did have a beautiful image to work with. |

I think you are right. Not sure why I left it out. Thanks for the suggestion. I will have to go back and try to include the hand. |

Pleasant shot Bruce. Hard to believe with all that greenery and dark staained wood that this is Vegas unless it was was in the mountains like Mount Charleston. Actually I think I found it online. Sharpness looks about right shot with a Powershot camera. I have a similar model. Only thing is I would like to see is the wording on the Sign Little church of the West.

Beautiful Mark- The movement and good freeze of the wings. You even got its eye tucked under the wing. Was wondering how many a Pentax would take per second in a burst mode. I wondered if you needed burst mode to capture this. 1/200 sec seems too low a speed on looking at this result. I thought you would need something between 1/1000-1/2000 sec to get such good results. Proportions as they are, I cannot tell if the bee is part of a composite image or so much closer to the lens that its size and focus show such comparative proportions. The sharpness from f13 would probably work with the later. What fun it must have been. |

The action is beautifully caught. The composition is good. Glad you had the telephoto lens. Glad you did not drown from the thousand of gallons released when DJT flooded the fields by opening the wrong valve. Good ISO, speed and f-stop to stop and capture the movement of the propellers and "the RAIN" of the Phos-Chek cloud. Wonderful photojournalism ! It does look dangerous though. |

The image is beautiful and inviting. I love the B & W Tones. The feeling and lines seem to make a path across the field and down the mountain to get cover from the storm. My only thought is that rether than the house in the middle and the mountain going up the mountain on the right I made some suggestions. I like both images and wonder what you think Bunny. |
